We are the competency center for contaminant analysis supporting the region of AOA (Asia-Oceania-Africa) by providing the highest quality food safety testing and playing a vital role in safeguarding food and beverage safety.A day in the life of a Lab Support Technician\xe2\x80\xa6

• Handling of samples from receipt, registration, queries, disposal, and subcontracting.
• Handling of incoming parcels of samples for laboratory analysis.
• Responsible for sample grinding and sample transferring where needed.
• Responsible for preparation of sample before analysis as per accreditation and quality system.
• Ensure no delays in sample acknowledgement and creating sample inspection lots.
• Responsible for disposal of samples following the procedure.
• Timely responding to customers\' emails and follow up on sample enquiries.
• Ensure smooth procurement of consumables needed in the section in accordance with compliance to standards.
• Extends skills and competencies according to section\'s needs.
• Ensure all equipment are properly maintained.
• Ensure compliance to safe working environment.
• Actively involved in activities of Safety, Quality Management, Goal Alignment which means being representative of the section in such activities. Takes part in operational reviews (Daily Operation Review) and other elements such as root cause analysis, standard routine etc. in order to continuously improve the quality system and the operational output (e.g. reporting and troubleshooting any deviation and abnormal results).
