Support the Flavour Laboratory lead in technical projects aimed at evaluating the impact of processes along the cocoa value chain on the flavour profiles of cocoa liquors and chocolate
Possess the technical know-how to operate processing equipment for cocoa liquor and chocolate making
Perform experimental measurements as defined, document the process parameters executed and provide written/verbal reports to Flavour Lab lead regularly
Support sensory panel lead in preparing cocoa liquor samples and materials for sensory evaluation sessions
Act as the liaison to coordinate analytical measurements requests and delivery logistics for samples between multiple locations as appropriate
Work to the highest standards of safety and quality
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment in the lab
Work with Flavour Laboratory lead to ensure that the laboratory equipment and conditions are up to standard
Job Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in Chemistry or Food Science and Technology
Min. 1 - 2 years experience (Flavour Science background preferred
Keen interest in cocoa processing, flavour development and sensory evaluation
