Human by nature.Lab Technician - Stability - Your future position?Location: PioneerReporting to: Application Lab and Technical Lab ManagerAs a Lab Technician - Stability, you will responsible of stability of fragrance formulations in product baseCore Responsibilities:Stability

• Preparation of product samples, where required
• Organise stability tests and record results
• Conduct physical and olfactory testing of samples
• Research causes of issues and propose and test solutions and technical changes to formulations
• Assist in the administration of materials and laboratory organization.
• Communication of stability test results internally and to clients
• Provide technical support to perfumers and development team on areas relating to fragrance stability in product base
• Prepare fragrance applications in different bases meeting the needs of creative and development teams under guidance, and ensure the quality, precision and accuracy thereof.

Environmental Health & Safety

• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment
• Operate and help maintain standard lab equipment

Academic Background

• Technical training or Higher Education Qualification in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or similar

subjectProfessional experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience work in a lab envrionment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Ability to communicate and write in English required

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of good laboratory practice and safe handling of chemicals
• Accurate record keeping and attention to detail
• Chemistry knowledge
• Perfumery knowledge
• Understanding of ISO protocols
• Demonstrated proficiency in Givaudan-specific software applications
• Knowledge of lab equipment and its safe usage
• Good Communication skills
• Understanding of EH&S requirements & protocols and laboratory safety practices
