Mount Pleasant Vet Centre (Gelenggang) is an advance small animal practice. We are part of Mount Pleasant Veterinary Group (MPVG) and Mars Veterinary Health (MVH) Asia. Our team is growing! We have two vacancies for Medical Technologists. This is a full-time permanent role requiring shift rotations at 44 hours, 5 days a week (inclusive of weekends and public holidays). At our purpose-built facility, we offer first opinion, referral, and after-hours emergency services for both medicine and surgical cases. Our facilities include a CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, dedicated surgery, hospitalization area, ICU and critical care monitoring. Referral services offered at our practice include ultrasound, echocardiography, flexible and rigid endoscopy, non-vascular interventional radiology procedures of the respiratory (trachea/bronchial stent) and urinary system (ureteral/urethral stent, SUB), advanced orthopaedic, neurological, oncological, and soft tissue surgeries.

You will be joining a team of passionate individuals seeking to provide exceptional care to pets in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Work Scope:

• Collect samples from animal patients.
• Perform blood, urine, faecal laboratory tests and other tests as directed by the veterinarian.
• Carry out routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Check and maintain proper inventory of all test\xe2\x80\x99s reagents, kits and consumables.
• Enter charges for all tests done by laboratory to patient\'s records.
• Organise forms and follow up on results for external laboratories.
• Maintain cleanliness of laboratory.
• Assist in answering inquiries pertaining to the laboratory.
• Other assigned duties.

• Degree in Medical Technology/ Biomedical/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology or any related field.
• Minimally one year prior experience in human healthcare, veterinary related laboratory required.
• Love working with animals.
