Job Description

Element has an opportunity for a Senior Testing Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

This role is based in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Designs, sets-up and performs a variety of test according to customer specifications and requirements and able to manages time and practices accountability for the testing to be performed
• Requires little supervision and technical input of a Department Manager, Principal Technician, Project Coordinator or Engineer
• Possesses the ability to mentor and train technicians who have less experience through effective communication of technical data and able to transfer technical knowledge/requirements and successfully satisfy and meet customer specifications
• Possesses the ability to perform lower to intermediate complex testing and aility to work alone the majority of the work day; only requiring assistance for clarification or confirmation of test procedures
• Ability to take testing projects from start to finish, completing each step properly and hold team members and peer technicians accountable for the testing requirements
• Advanced ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform the testing required in accordance with customer specifications and construct and maintain test fixtures and other laboratory equipment to ensure proper working order based on client needs
• Ability to maintain and repair equipment and ensures timely and accurate results with little supervision and technical input

Skills / Qualifications

• Working knowledge of laboratory safety
• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or Science field and/or possess 3-6 years of experience in a testing related field
• In-depth understanding of testing concepts and able to compiles testing data from the tests performed
• Possess strong computer skills
