Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a responsible Transport Controller to plan, arrange, and monitor the deliveries and shipments of the containers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

:

• Plan, arrange and monitor the deliveries and shipments of the containers
• Identify any risk factors that may impact efficiency and safety during transport execution
• Coordinate closely with the drivers and team of internal coordinators to ensure smooth and efficient transportation
• Review daily transport operational activities and ensure all delivery activities are carried out within schedule in a very efficient and cost-effective manner
• Manage deployment for vehicles and drivers
• Schedule vehicles for routine servicing / repairs / LTA inspection
• Meet compliance at all times
• Ensure all customers\xe2\x80\x99 standard operating procedures are followed and updated
• Timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
• Troubleshoot any operational issues when encountered
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned

• Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Logistics & Supply Chain (Transportation industry preferred)
• Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills
• Familiar with PSA PortNet, Jurong Port System and TradeWeb Live
• Reasonable knowledge of Singapore roads, yard and port operations
• Ability to perform under a fast-paced and performance driven environment
• Able to work independently with pro-active attitude
• Ability to communicate with one other languages a plus
