About this role:

Wells Fargo International Human Resources is seeking a Lead Employee Relations Consultant, to join the International Employee Relations team. The Lead Employee Relations Consultant will have experience of managing a complex caseload and the ability to provide advice and support to members of the wider HR team and line management on all aspects of the employment relationship including performance management, disciplinary and grievances processes and change management.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage end to end grievances, conduct and performance management cases
  • Undertake or overview workplace investigations in collaboration with the internal investigations team
  • Provide expert advice on change management proposals
  • Review and analyse complex, multi-faceted business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation
  • Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional and have broad impact
  • Partner closely with the HR Business Partner team to provide expert advice on a variety of the employment relationship issues
  • Partner with the International Employee Relations Manager to develop strategic solutions and initiatives and improve existing policies and procedures
  • Track, analyse and interpret Employee Relations metrics
  • Provide appropriate collaboration with management and Employee Relations peers and provide coaching and development feedback to managers and employees
  • Lead Employee Relations projects and teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong Employee Relations / HR experience in an international organization with demonstrated full understanding of disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes
  • Proven experience in Employee Relations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy and working collaboratively across multiple business lines with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to effectively organise, prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and proven problem solving skills and business acumen
  • Comfortable navigating complex, highly matrixed organizations with proven ability to work effectively in global settings
  • Up to date working knowledge of APAC wide employment legislation
Desired Qualifications:
  • Financial Services experience desirable, but not essential
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional Asian language would be a plus
