Team Overview:
EMEA/APAC Corporate Security are part of the wider Global Corporate Security department and form part of the BNYM Global legal department.
Director of Corporate Security EMEA/APAC is responsible for all aspects of security across the region and the management of the below team members.
Under the management of the Director EMEA/APAC Corporate Security the team consists of the following subject matter experts: Four regional security managers based in Frankfurt Manchester, Singapore, and Poland. They are responsible for all aspects of physical and technical security including access control and CCTV, staff, building, asset security, personal security, and travel advice. Other responsibilities include law enforcement liaison, crisis management in support of the Enterprise Resilience Office, Investigations, oversight of contracted security personnel deployed working with vendor management. Close liaison with internal business partners, Facilities, HR, Compliance, Audit, IT, Legal including various business department leads in support of the day - day operation of BNYM from a security perspective.
The London Command Centre Manager is responsible for the 24/7 day to day management of Access Control and CCTV monitoring, incident response, internal/ external audit requests, compliance regarding regulatory and client requests, adherence to GDPR. Liaison with the reginal security managers in relation to system fault finding and investigations, day to day management of command centre vendor operators. This includes training procedures and protocols in support of the command centre operation. Constant liaison with site specific BNYM contacts to support and resolve issues. This position also has responsibility for the management of vendor security officers assigned to the London office portfolio.
Technical Senior Security Manager is responsible for all aspects of our technical standards and requirements. He advises the regional security managers regarding security equipment and projects across the region ensuring the BNYM standard is adhered to in conjunction with Facilities and our preferred vendor partners. He is assisted by our technical security officer based in Poland he is also assisted by two dedicated vendor engineers based on site to maintain the Access Control and CCTV systems across the region.
Senior Investigator deals with all aspect of investigations, involving external/ internal fraud/ crime, staff wrongdoing, breach of policies, law enforcement liaison and reporting. The investigator works closely with all members of the team where required to investigate and resolve issues in compliance with BNYM investigations procedures.
