This covers platforms and applications under the Web & Knowledge Management domain including SharePoint, Sitefinity, WordPress and OpenText Enterprise Content and Document Management platforms. You need to work closely with the user community, external vendors, other stakeholders to harness technology for business needs and operations. While the individual will grow in-depth business knowledge in the above-mentioned business domain, he/she may be assigned to deliver IT projects in other areas. Duties & Responsibilities Project Management Oversee the delivery of projects to ensure that project targets are met. Activities include conducting user requirements analysis, participating in solution design, planning, testing, executing and deploying solutions for production use. Manage procurement activities, prepare tender specifications for publishing, evaluate and recommend potential solutions and/or vendors. Liaise closely with vendors to ensure successful delivery of products and/or services in accordance to contract. Maintenance and Support Provide maintenance and support of applications. Activities include delivery of enhancements and bug fixes, managing of service requests and troubleshooting of problems. Provide operational support for the Central Web Hosting (CWH) platform. Activities include provisioning of website instances, assisting in deployment activities, troubleshooting, support, and implementation of security policies and procedures. Provide operational support for web application firewall and defacement monitoring solutions. Assist in the operationalizing of website support and deployment activities. Provide operational support for SharePoint 2013/2016 and SharePoint Online. Provide technical leadership in overseeing the SharePoint administration team. Provide technical support for intranet websites. Qualifications Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. Proficiency with SharePoint 2013/2016 and SharePoint Online. Technical competencies on Content Management Systems, specifically on WordPress and Sitefinity, and other website related technologies. At least 10 years within IT industry, inclusive of 4+ years in a technical role and 4+ years in project management. Good grasp of IT technologies, methodologies, architectures, and best practices. Strong business process and analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly, and communicate complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely. The ability to understand the business questions that users are trying to answer is essential. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, users and vendors. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Must be a good team player, proactive in nature, fast learner, highly organized and positive attitude. Certification in PMP or CITPM will be an added advantage. Experience in Higher Education industry is a bonus. Interested applicants are invited to apply directly at our .
