Provide academic leadership and support in the management and delivery of assigned modules for the Diploma programme at the School of Dance, which include:
undertaking 9 hours contact/teaching hours per week at the School of Dance
designing, preparing, and developing module/teaching materials
contributing towards the review of curriculum and academic activities
maintaining records relating to students\' progress, performance and attendance
supervising and assessing students\' assignments/works/projects/productions
performing administrative duties as expected of an academic staff
attend meetings/ discussions/ seminars/ personal development activities when needed
Assist in the planning and organisation of a variety of activities, such as workshops, masterclasses, auditions, interviews, performances, Open House, or any internal/external events
Collaborate with staff and students from various divisions and programmes
Mentor and provide pastoral care and support to students, including career guidance and Industry-based learning (IBL) supervision
Establish and maintain links with the industry and institutions to foster a total approach of academic pursuit alongside industry practice
Perform other duties as assigned from time to time
Requirements
Minimum bachelor\'s degree in dance and 5 years of teaching and relevant working experience
Positive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented with the ability to engage students in their learning
Excellent command of written and spoken English
A team player with good interpersonal and administrative skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
The ability to work independently and accordingly to timelines
Extensive experience with productions and choreography
Strong track record of research/practice, with actual or potential for research output in your chosen field
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
