What the role is:This position is within the School of Business.What you will be working on:We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual specialising in digital transformation and innovation, dedicated to inspiring and preparing learners for successful careers in the dynamic digital landscape. - Prepare and conduct lessons to students (youths and adult learners) in general business and sustainability areas as well as carry out all relevant responsibilities related to this teaching role; - Collaborate with other diplomas/schools to develop generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives and curriculum; - Design and develop curriculum in the application of generative AI and no code platforms to develop innovative business solutions across various industries; - Design and develop curriculum in the adoption of digital technologies in the financial sector, including but not limited to blockchain technology, digital payments, cryptocurrency, and financial data analytics; - Initiate and facilitate student-industry collaboration projects; - Undertake industry consultancies/projects, engage stakeholders and project partners; - Mentor, guide and advise students including leading students for local and overseas learning trips; - Design, develop and deliver customised workshops for adult learners; - Undertake additional duties as assigned (eg academic related work, student/outreach activities).What we are looking for:- A tertiary qualification in information technology and/or business (with technology specialisation) related discipline. - At least 3-5 years of work experience of which 1-2 years are in applying generative AI to practical business solutions. - Knowledge of no-code AI software/tools, basic algorithms, data science, functional design principles and best practice patterns. - Experience leading FinTech projects is preferred. - Strong understanding of AI related challenges, trends and themes. - A team player with strong communication skills and passionate in interacting with both re-employment and adult learners. - Ability to perform in a fast-paced yet collaborative work environment.About Temasek Polytechnic:Established in 1990, Temasek Polytechnic (TP) is a leading institution of high learning nestled by the idyllic shores of Bedok Reservoir in Tampines.
