This position is within the School of Business. - Drive industry development by spearheading partnership initiatives, encompassing multi/interdisciplinary collaboration, facilitating accelerated career pathways, and fostering mentorship, internship opportunities for students, and industry attachment for staff. - Lead business development efforts focused on identifying and pursuing industry consultancy projects in digitalization and sustainability. - Execute industry collaboration initiatives with the various diplomas and departments to engage our stakeholders (i.e. students, alumni, and industry partners). - Teach full-time Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education Training (CET) courses and facilitate professional workshops, particularly Marketing and Communications & Media related subjects. - Plan and deliver lessons through appropriate teaching and learning strategies and methods and this includes setting and marking assignments and assessments. - Review and update curriculum to ensure currency and relevance. - Contribute to poly-wide/school-wide events or activities. - Proven track record in industry and business development - Academic training in Business, Marketing or Communications & Media - At least 3 years of working experience in digital marketing or communications & media management - Good knowledge of the industry demand and requirements - Good interpersonal and communications skills - Customer-oriented mindset in managing various stakeholders - Possess sound planning, organising and multi-tasking skills, with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility for completing assigned duties on time. - Adept in the use of technology and digital tools.
