What the role is:

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Diploma in Electronics)

What you will be working on:

• Conduct lessons to both full time diploma students and part time adult learners and carry out all relevant responsibilities related to the job roles
• Develop and deliver curriculum / courseware / e-learning modules for full-time / part-time courses for students and adult learners in the areas of Electronics, IC assembly/packaging/testing, failure analysis, test program for semiconductor devices.
• Supervise student projects and internships in partnership with industry in these areas
• Adopt the use of IT resources and multimedia platform for lesson facilitation
• Counsel, coach and mentor students to support their learning, participation in competitions, career guidance and personal development
• Undertake academic related administration and committee work, and support outreach activities, local/overseas community projects and study trips
• Plan, lead, manage and develop projects with industry partners, student internships and capability development
• Develop students holistically in areas such as career readiness and leadership

What we are looking for:

• Qualification in Electronics/Electrical or related fields, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in the respective field. A post-graduate degree will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge and experiences with Electronics applications, working in semiconductor industry, IC assembly, semiconductor process/manufacturing /testing /programming, failure analysis, data analytics, applied Artificial Intelligent. Knowledge and experience in Industrial IoT, AIoT will be added advantage.
• Ability to lead, plan, execute and deliver projects in developing solution for industrial applications relating to semiconductor manufacturing, deployment of smart systems, Industrial IoT.
• A self-starter who works well in cross-functional capacities.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
• Flexible, embrace life-long learning and has a growth mind set.
• A team player with good interpersonal communication and documentation / presentation skills.
• Passion and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with young minds.
