The National University of Singapore (NUS) launched the College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) in August 2021, an enhanced undergraduate experience for students of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) and the Faculty of Science (FoS). CHS includes a of 13 modules that provide foundational skills in literacy, numeracy and critical thinking, as well as broad exposure to Humanities, Social Sciences and Asian Studies.
The successful candidate will be part of the teaching team offering the and will be housed under the Department of Sociology & Anthropology. The anticipated start date is July 2023. The appointment is for a period of 1-2 years with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
Conduct tutorials (discussion groups) and support students via email, office hours. Provide administrative support and assist in the day to day running of the module. Prepare educational resources and course materials. Evaluate module assessment components. Teach up to 240 contact hours per academic year.
