LEGAL CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
Okta’s world class Legal Operations team is looking for a Legal Contracts Administrator to assist in supporting the Contracts Management Team. As a Contracts Administrator, you will work closely with the Contracts Management Team and be responsible for processing and maintaining complete and accurate data regarding Okta’s contracts in Okta’s contract management system for accurate record keeping. A successful candidate will have a proven track record using a contract management system (CMS), supporting the administration of agreements, and independently analyzing data to appropriately support the back end of contract life cycle management, ensuring the proper closeout of agreements by storing and tracking key terms of executed agreements. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and draw appropriate conclusions from contractual terms and data regarding those terms
  • Process and enter key data points from executed contracts into Okta’s CMS
  • Manage and update the CMS and ensure all contracts are integrated into the CMS
  • Provide complex support to the Contracts Management team and perform related duties and complete contracts related projects as assigned
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal direction and supervision independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to evaluate non-standard requests and determine where they fit in an existing process and develop a vision to create a process for resolving such non-standard requests
  • Establish, maintain and support processes to ensure compliance with internal policies
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of contract administration experience using a CMS (Apttus preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of contracts and contractual terms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and take ownership of inbound sales and related agreements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative cross functional relationships with key business units.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with using Salesforce a plus.
