The Company:

A prominent global leader with a diverse portfolio that includes significant acquisitions and well-known entities (across insurance, consulting and professional services) is seeking to fill two key legal positions within the Legal and Compliance teams. This comes amid a period of growth and restructuring aimed at enhancing efficiency across various platforms.

The legal team, with an extensive personnel base, handles legal and compliance matters for several business units. The company is committed to centralizing the legal function across all business units in the short to medium term, with a focus on various specialized areas.

General Points for the Roles:

• Experience: Less than 5 years of PQE is acceptable, but candidates must demonstrate strong commercial acumen and aptitude for legal, compliance, and risk advisory roles.
• Compensation: Additional wage supplement applicable, with bonuses paid in a designated month.
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid working environment, with face-to-face engagements encouraged initially to build trust and relationships.
• Interview Process: Four rounds, including interactions with senior management and global stakeholders.

Regional Legal Counsel (2 Vacancies)

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial legal matters for various business arms across Asia (12 countries)
• Oversee complex contracts, regional and global aspects, projects, and transactions at the group level
• Experience in M&A, corporate commercial legal; insurance sector knowledge is a plus but not required
• Commonwealth bar is acceptable; local bar qualification is not required.

Legal & Compliance Counsel - Singapore focused (1 Vacancy)

Responsibilities:

• Emphasis on compliance, regulatory, litigation, and dispute work.
• A background in litigation/disputes is preferred.
• Singapore bar qualification is required.
