The Company
Our client is a leading insurer in Singapore, offering comprehensive life, health, and general insurance solutions and looking to aggressively expand overseas, and taking an increasingly data-driven approach to provide new B2C and B2B products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Offer comprehensive legal counsel on organizational matters and conduct thorough legal assessments of documents, suggesting necessary revisions for compliance.
- Manage various aspects of commercial and corporate law, encompassing the creation and review of legal documents, commercial agreements, and insurance policies.
- Provide guidance on insurance claims and legal disputes, coordinating with external lawyers when required to ensure service excellence.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and ensure adherence to established service standards.
- Undertake additional legal responsibilities and projects as directed by the team lead and corporate governance head.
- Singapore bar qualified, min 7PQE, either in practice or in-house.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling legal matters related to insurance, agency, distribution, insurtech, corporate, and commercial law.
- Exhibit strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a profound understanding of insurance, corporate, and commercial legal domains.
- Display meticulous attention to detail and the capability to excel independently or as part of a team.
