Job Description
What the role is:Legal CounselWhat you will be working on:Provide legal advice on general corporate and commercial contracts including issues relating to the sale, leasing and management of State land and properties. Other areas of law to advise on include Intellectual Property (IP) issues.Assist in litigious and potentially litigious mattersAdvise on law reform and drafting of legislationWork with government and statutory bodies and the industry on real estate-related issuesWhat we are looking for:Qualification in LawAdmitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of SingaporeAt least 4 years of postgraduate experience in professional private practice or in-house legal positionMeticulous with good analytical thinking skillsAbility to work independently and as a teamGood written and verbal communication skillsAbout Singapore Land Authority:The mission of the Singapore Land Authority is to optimise land resources for the economic and social development of Singapore. It ensures the best use of State land and buildings, provides an effective and reliable land management system and enables the full use of land information for better land management.
