Job Title: Shop Sales Assistant

Job Purpose:

The Lighting Shop Sales Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their lighting needs. They are responsible for maintaining an attractive and organized shop floor, keeping up-to-date with the latest lighting products and trends, and achieving sales targets.

It is an important role within the lighting shop, as they are the first point of contact for customers and play a key role in driving sales and promoting customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a passion for customer service and lighting products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they enter the shop and provide a warm welcome.

• Assist customers with their lighting needs, answer questions about products, and provide recommendations.

• Demonstrate lighting products to customers and explain their features and benefits.

• Process sales transactions and handle payments.

• Ensure that the shop is well-stocked, clean, and well-organized.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest lighting products and industry trends in order to provide the best advice to customers.

• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and ensure that customer needs are met.

• Resolve customer complaints and handle returns or exchanges as needed.

• Attend training sessions and trade shows to learn about new lighting products and technologies.

• Assist with shop displays and promotions as needed.

• Complete administrative tasks such as stock management, inventory control, and cash handling.
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred.

• Knowledge of lighting products and technology is an advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work well in a team.

• Basic computer skills.

• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
  

Working Time:

Monday - Saturday, 12pm - 8pm
