Sales Assistant We are looking for a friendly and energetic sales assistant to greet customers, answer any queries and assist with finding the requested stock. The sales assistant is also responsible for repacking shelves and ensuring that the store is clean. To be successful as a sales assistant you must have excellent customer service skills. A good sales assistant remains calm when dealing with difficult customers and elevates complaints to the manager where needed. Sales Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Answer customers\' questions.
  • Look for stock requested by customers.
  • Keep the stock room organized.
  • Pack shelves neatly.
  • Create attractive displays.
  • Elevate customer complaints to the manager.
  • Greeting the customers as and when they arrive.
  • Understanding the customers\' needs and requirements.
  • Knowing in and out of the products and services offered by the company.
  • Offering excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
  • Describing the product benefits to the customers.
  • Keeping the store clean and tidy all the time.
  • Developing strategies to improve sales in an efficient manner.
  • Recommending products to the customers based on their preferences.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Answering customer\'s questions in a professional manner.
  • Assisting the Marketing department in creating attractive display ads.
  • Keeping an eye on the inventory levels and restocking them as well.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly sales reports.
  • Staying updated with the latest sales trends and practices.
  • Maintaining the cash register and other financial records
  • Supervising and delegating tasks to the sales team members.
  • Meeting the sales targets and sales goals efficiently.
  • Attending meetings and daily stand ups.
  • Monitoring the performance of the sales staff.
  • Ensuring the store is well stocked and restocking them as and when required.
  • Providing training sessions to the new team members.
  • Maintaining a positive working environment for the employees.
  • Assisting Sales Manager in planning effective sales strategies.
  • Addressing customer\'s issues in a timely manner.
  • Performing administrative tasks of transactions such as recording and filing details.
  • Assisting the HR department in hiring new employees.
  • Adhering to the work policies, ethics, and regulations of a firm.
  • Should be available all time.
Sales Assistant Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers.
  • 3+ years of working experience as a Sales Assistant, Sales Associate, Sales Executive, or a similar role in the Sales department.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of sales principles.
  • Ability to offer excellent customer service to the customer.
  • Ability to handle different types of customers patiently.
  • Ability to work in a stressful work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Good sales and presentation skills.

  • Ability to provide amazing customer service to the clients.
