Job Description
- Implementation project and configuration of Microsoft public and private cloud technologies
- Maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
- Handle daily problems and service requests related to OS, server and virtualisation infrastructure
- Maintains and reviews system logs and reports
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Work experience with Linux servers in virtualised environments (i.e. Microsoft Azure, AWS, OpenStack, etc)
- Verse with Linux scripting languages
- Verse with networking concepts (i.e. firewall, VPN, etc)
- At least University degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related subject and discipline
- Understanding the OS including but not limited to (Red Hat Linux, Cent OS)
- Preferred certificates with RHCT , RHCE, Network certificates (CCNA, CCNP, etc), Cloud certificates
