We are representing our client, a Singapore agricultural produce company listed on a recognised stock exchange, to look for a Logistics Administrative Assistant to complement the existing team. He/she shall assist the Logistics Manager to coordinate the day-to-day logistics activities and services, monitor and schedule the transportation routes and perform logistics administration.
Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate logistics services, delivery routes, and driver assignment.
Assist the Logistics Manager to make ad-hoc shuffle of vehicles or reassign customers/sales invoices to drivers in the event of absence.
Monitor all drivers’ adherence of transport SOPs.
Monitor and update all logistics administrative reports as per SOP.
Schedule, monitor and update servicing and routine Inspection schedule.
Assist the Logistics Manager to coordinate arrangements in the event of breakdown, accident or scheduled inspections/servicing.
Manage application and renewal of vehicle licenses, insurance, road tax and registration.
Monitor drivers’ required licenses and training.
Handle customer delivery related queries and escalate serious complaints to Management.
Requirements
Minimum Higher NITEC in Logistics or related field.
Relevant working experience.
Good Knowledge of logistics, transportation and best industry practices.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in computer skills including MS Words and Excel.
