This role is responsible for executing and monitoring the day-to-day operational processes involving logistics and contracted logistics functions. This role is crucial in order to ensure that we have the right parts, at the right place, on the right time at the right cost.

  • Ensure all incoming shipments from suppliers and outgoing shipments from warehouse to customers and distributors are coordinated and delivered in a timely manner in accordance to company\'s processes and customer requested date.
  • Act as key interface in day-to-day operations with regards to inbound shipment coordination with freight service providers, warehouse 3PL and goods receipt in ERP system until stock is available for order allocation.
  • Ensure strict compliance of SOPs\xe2\x80\x99 is adhered in all areas of warehouse and transportation operations to meet agreed KPI/SLA targets.
  • Continuously ensure inventory accuracy and integrity between the internal ERP system and 3PL WMS is verified by conducting weekly logical system matches and inventory variance movements reconciled.
  • Ensure warehouse operations and fixed costs are in line with company\'s requirements and are utilized accordingly.
  • Resolve complaints on all shipment of goods (both incoming and outgoing).
  • Lead transportation RFQ and preparation of bid analysis for approval and appoint forwarders.
  • Lead process & cost improvement activities/projects in the area of warehousing operation and transportation.
  • Ensure compliance of all import/export regulatory requirements.
  • Verify invoices from Freight service providers and 3PL for warehousing to provide and highlight timely, any discrepancies for corrective action.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.


Key Qualifications & Requirements
  • Degree with at least 3 years OR Diploma with at least 5 years relevant working experience in a Logistics/Supply Chain environment.
  • Familiar with warehouse processes, freight management and inventory control.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill and able to interact with different level of people.
  • Experience in working in a computerized data entry as well as order processing work environment.
  • Prior exposure to ERP system is preferred (Oracle, SAP, JDE).
