What You Will Achieve

This position is directly responsible for the logistics and operational activities relating to the distribution of Pfizer products, including all associated products within the selected markets in the APAC region. The position will also lead, coordinate and support the GSC team with projects, metrics and analyses to improve the operations in the whole region. The Logistic & Customer Service Manager will work closely with the Logistics Center Singapore (LCS), Logistics Centers and Logistics Service Providers to align the GSC\'s strategies and business goals in the Asia Pacific countries.

This includes analysis of regional business drivers, evaluation of support alternatives / opportunities and implementation of service programs. The Logistics & Customer Service Manager will ensure that processes, procedures and controls are in place and adhered to and will develop and maintain a well-trained and motivated operations team to absorb new business opportunities as they arise. Measures will be introduced and he/she will review all operational activities relating to network optimization of financial and physical flows.

The Logistics & Customer Service Manager is part of the management team and will provide support to implement, enhance and improve LCS\' ongoing operations and meet its future aspirations.

This position is accountable to ensure that LCS operations are in compliance with all Local laws and Corporate guidelines in the areas of GMP, Environmental, Health and Safety, Business Conduct and Financial controls. He/she supports the implementation of GSC strategies and achieves organizational effectiveness which are the key elements of the position.

People Management

Manage, motivate, coach and develop a team in the execution of operation objectives.

Identify, plan and implement strategies to improve processes, productivity, and cost-savings initiatives.

Co-ordinate, support and participate in projects to improve working methods.

Stimulate and challenge the team in order to work on innovative solutions.

Ensure training and development for the entire team to drive continuous improvement.

Customer Service

Manage the performance of order processing, supply planning for specific markets, inbound product processing and transshipment/drop-shipment activities.

Set clear performance standards for the Customer Service team and accountable for the achievement of these standards.

Translate LCS (Singapore) and customer/stakeholder requirements into clear strategies and operational objectives for the team

Responsible for the management, oversight and adherence to operational policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls are in place

Liaise with all business units, customers and other stakeholders, including Supply Chain and PGS sites for business operations.

Ensure the documentation processed by the team members are complete & meeting customers\'/banks\'/authorities\' requirements

Support studies to roll out more \'drop shipments\' to the markets in achieving freight savings

Participate, and where appropriate, sponsor or take the lead on projects within the Customer Service Group, Operations, LCS or GSC Analysis.

Coordinate all audit activities that involves LCS

Logistics Service Providers

Ensure the delivery of distribution services to be consistent with the established service level agreements for each of the Pfizer businesses in the area.

Develop and implement the overall distribution strategy for LCS & other adjacent businesses within the country responsibility area.

Implement Logistics standards, tools and reports.

Manage the Logistics Service Providers, with regular follow-up from a service, quality and cost perspective.

Evaluate and negotiate contracts of the logistic service providers.

Manage budgets and expenses for distribution.

Implementation and analyses of Metrics to identify operational and financial improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and service delivery performance for distribution in the region.

Build case for change, gain buy-in and implement.

Provide leadership and support to process harmonization, process re-design and change management efforts related to the distribution in the region.

Collaborate with the markets closely, provide them leadership and support in all areas concerning distribution.

Ensure that GDP and the other operational SOPs are in place and updated in the area

Leverage of internal and external best practices in distribution

Communicate regularly to Pfizer organizations regarding distribution goals and achievements in the area

Participate in local market Continuous Improvement Initiatives related to distribution

Regional Interactions

Support in the development and implementation of long-term network optimization strategies and new product launch strategies for the APAC region.

Draft and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery performance in the Region.

Analyze the Regional metrics, publishing them for the Regions, and identifying improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor\'s degree, university degree or equivalent through experience in a Supply Chain / service related industry

Minimum 5 years\' experience in multifunctional area

Extensive experience and background in a large and complex international organisation

Strong verbal and written skills in English

Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Nice-to-Have

Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.

Advanced training in project management, supply chain management, scientific or clinical disciplines, business administration.

Demonstrated ability to drive results with stakeholders of varying levels.

Fully complete Covid-19 vaccination and could provide official medical certificate
