  We are representing our client, a Singapore agricultural produce company listed on a recognised stock exchange, to look for an experienced Logistics Manager to complement their existing team. The Logistics Manager is responsible for optimizing the resources, route planning and day-to-day activities of transportation, and ensuring all delivery drivers adhere to SOPs and achieve agreed KPIs.
  Responsibilities
  
  Manage a huge fleet of trucks including vehicle maintenance and housekeeping.
  Manage a team of delivery drivers to achieve set KPIs.
  Implement and maintain SOPs of the Logistics Team.
  Plan and schedule daily delivery routes and manpower to operate at optimum level.
  Check and confirm relevant documentation e.g. delivery notes are in order.
  Ensure smooth and timely delivery of orders.
  Report any vehicle or goods damage due to accident.
  Ensure accurate data is captured in the internal system.
  Ensure operational efficiency, identify potential cost saving opportunities and identify gaps to improve existing operations.
  Conduct investigation, suggest and implement corrective and preventive actions for any delivery discrepancies, accidents and customer complaints.
  Foster good relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
  Ensure compliance to safety standards by conducting audits and safety briefings to the drivers.
  Any other projects or duties assigned by the Management.
  Requirements
  
  Possess at least a Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
  Minimum 10 years of relevant experience and familiar with Singapore roads.
  Proven experience in managing a large team.
  Self-driven and able to work in a fast paced environment.
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
