Cross-functional Business Partnering

\xc2\xb7 Align short-term and mid-term goal with cross-functional team, not limited to Supply Chain, MFG, Sales and Marketing

\xc2\xb7 Collaborative and effective communication with all stakeholders

Local Distribution & Goods Transfer Operations (40%)

\xc2\xb7 Ensure safety and compliance operations in logistics that meets local regulation

\xc2\xb7 Manage daily operations to achieve \'right products are delivered to the right place, on-time, in-full and good quality, at the most effective cost\'.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct Monthly Operations review with well-defined KPI to ensure daily operations is managed efficiently and effectively

\xc2\xb7 Drive optimization in local distribution operations which involves routes optimization, fleet utilization, resource planning, fuel/diesel efficiency and fleet downtime.

\xc2\xb7 Managing goods transfer operations with end-to-end supply chain value in line all sites/ floors, including production output finished goods and continuous supply/deliver packaging and raw materials.

\xc2\xb7 Improve resources optimization in Pokka to minimize dependency on subcontractor.

\xc2\xb7 Fleet management which includes fleet replacement, COE/ road tax/ insurance/ VPC renewal, fleet condition, maintenance items/ costs, workshop vendor and inspection scheduling.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare reports to provide operations performance visibility, identify risk / opportunity and mitigation plan.

Ensures thorough root cause investigations for all injuries and incidents, following-up with consistent discipline and retraining

Cross Border Management (40%)

\xc2\xb7 Ensure safety and compliance operations in all warehouse sites that meets local regulation

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with Production, Warehouse and Truckers to ensure smooth transfer of products without effecting or delaying order fulfilment to the customers

\xc2\xb7 Conduct Monthly Operations with Production, Warehouse and Truckers review with well-defined KPI to ensure daily operations is managed efficiently and effectively

\xc2\xb7 Prepare reports to provide operations performance visibility, identify risk / opportunity and mitigation plan.

\xc2\xb7 Ensures thorough root cause investigations for all injuries and incidents, following-up with consistent discipline and retraining

Import / Export Management (20%)

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for Import and Export activities, includes transition of task.

\xc2\xb7 Lead advance planning on export container loading with International sales admin team that optimize warehouse capacity and minimize congestion / OT in WHS

\xc2\xb7 Ensure all I/E documents is prepared on-time that meets respective local regulation for ETD/ETA

\xc2\xb7 Ensure importation turn-around time is meet to minimize demurrage charge

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with Warehouse Team for container loading and release schedule

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with freight forwarding agent for container booking and arrange for products pick-up upon confirmation

\xc2\xb7 Prepare reports to provide operations performance visibility, identify risk / opportunity and mitigation plan.

Cost Management

\xc2\xb7 Monitor logistics and shipping expenses, reviews to ensure that not exceeding budgets; develops and implements programs for optimal warehouse utilization, material handling equipment cost, and labour and packaging material costs

\xc2\xb7 Analyse and monitors budget and operating metrics while diagnosing and improving processes, procedures, and performance

\xc2\xb7 Drive cost savings or cost avoidance initiatives together with Operational Excellence & Projects Manager

\xc2\xb7 Vendor management, including review and assessment of vendor\'s compliance & qualification, contract negotiation, appraisal of vendor\'s performance, budget management and reporting.

\xc2\xb7 Accountable on accuracy of pallet location across sites including customer location, ensure full compliance on pallet management process and continuously improving process to minimize pallet lost exposure.

Initiatives / Projects

\xc2\xb7 Partnering with Operational Excellence & Projects Manager to lead and implement departmental projects deployment with minimal operations disruption post go-live, not limited to PLH, TMS, WMS, WMS/EBS interface. Ensure right solutions / processes build to support operationally.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

\xc2\xb7 Develop CI / Ops excellence function to continuously improve operations with clear KPIs and deliver synergies

People Management

\xc2\xb7 Oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees and evaluating employee performance.

\xc2\xb7 Consistently review the Staff Training Matrix and Staff Training Record, to ensure all the staff are trained, and the record are properly kept.

\xc2\xb7 Works with functional groups to resolve employee relations and labour relations issues.

Education and Experience

\xc2\xb7 Minimum Degree in related field

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in warehousing and logistics

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical ability and sensitive to numbers figures and times.

Strong communications skill

Professional Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Experiences in WMS, TMS, Oracle and Logistic Module ERP System

\xc2\xb7 Well verse with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Visio

Aptitude and Skills

\xc2\xb7 Self-driven, highly motivated, passionate to problem solve, fixing and dare to lead the change with mastery

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate analytical, interpersonal and team skills. Attention to detail, he/she must be mindful of even the little details of an assignment
