Job Description


As a Logistics Manager, you will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of logistics processes and resources to support the lifecycle of a product or system.This includes planning, coordinating, and implementing various activities related to the acquisition, deployment, operation, and maintenance of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning an the implementation of a proactive obsolescence management programme that includes identification and review of known and potential obsolescence issuses
  • Conduct analyses to assess the supportability and maintainability of systems throughout their lifecycle. Identify potential logistical issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Prepare technical documents, including logistics support plans, maintenance procedures, user manuals, and training materials. Communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage the configuration of systems, equipment, and related documentation. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of hardware and software configurations to support maintenance and repair activities.
  • Develop training programs and materials to educate users and maintenance personnel on system operation, troubleshooting, and repair. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and field service teams as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related field (e.g., industrial engineering, logistics engineering, mechanical engineering).
  • At least 5 years of experience in handling logistics support or relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Familiarity with configuration management and reliability engineering concepts.
  • Experience in conducting supportability and maintainability analyses.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
