Job Description

The Logistics Manager is responsible in managing and ensuring inventory accuracy, warehouse management, and distribution operations are smooth and complies to standard operation procedures. This position will support and work various stakeholders such as Retail team, Quality control team, Delivery team, and any external parties such as freight forwarders and to ensure inbound flow is timely and accurate. He/she would also lead the customer support team to drive high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the coordination of all warehousing and distribution functions, including inventory, physical distribution, maintenance, record-keeping and delivery fleet scheduling
Manage the warehouse team to achieve stock accuracy and quality control
In charge of the profit and loss of the warehouse, delivery team and customer service departments
Develop and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction. Attends to customers' enquiries and adopt a proactive approach to minimize complaints.
Optimise the use of storage space and warehouse layout and for stock inventory records to be kept accurate and up-to-date
Responsible for staff management to upkeep company's service and efficiency levels
Provide monthly management reports on overall performance against agreed KPI's in the areas of team members, customers, delivery matters and other matters relating to warehousing and distribution
Plan & coordinate delivery schedules
Work closely with the relevant stakeholders, such as sales and procurement colleagues to ensure optimum service provided to customers on order fulfillment
Manage the delivery fleet and conduct weekly meetings with delivery team
Assist to sign off Quality assurance check list before sending products out to customers
Work closely with our Malaysia counterparts to facilitate quality control and export orders to Japan
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Dip or higher
Experience in leading or managing a team
Min 2 to 3 years experienced in Customer Service or Logistics (Retail or FMCG)
A team player with initiative
Able to commence work immediately or within a short notice
