The Opportunity:Adecco is partnering with a prominent Japanese Automotive Manufacturer with a global presence to seek a talented individual to join their business as a Logistics Officer on a 1-year contract for maternity cover. Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the successful incumbent will be supporting in daily shipping documentation, logistics coordination, payment, and billing matters.

• Work location: Central region, walkable distance from Promenade MRT station
• Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm (with 1 day WFH arrangement)
• Salary: up to $3,500 + 1 month completion bonus
• 1-year contract for maternity cover - NO conversion

The Job:

• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including invoices and bills of lading.
• Ensure accuracy in payment and billing operations.
• Maintain an organized document control system for easy retrieval.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers and customers.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding discrepancies and claims.
• Proactively resolve shipping issues that arise.

The Talent:

• Min. Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any other related field.
• 1 year of working experience in the Supply Chain/Logistics fields required.
• Familiarity with incoterms and SAP system will be an added advantage.
