Job FunctionWarehouse & Cold Chain ManagementJob SummaryThe Logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods.This role involves coordinating shipments, managing warehouse activities, and optimizing logistics processes to meet customer and business requirements.Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)Logistics Operations

  • Assist with inbound/outbound supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Help manage warehouse activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Support in arranging transportation and shipping for goods while ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.
Warehouse Management
  • Assist in managing warehouse operations, ensuring goods are properly stored and inventory levels are accurate
  • Help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse environment.
Inventory Control
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and updating the inventory management system.
  • Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies in the system.
  • Update the inventory management system with real-time data on stock movements and adjustments.
Suppliers and Customer Coordination
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers to coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing goods.
Learning and Process/Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in continuous learning and development initiatives to build logistics and supply chain management skills.
  • Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives
Others
  • Undertake any assigned projects / duties directed by Management (if any)
Job Requirements
  • Work Location: Islandwide
  • Proficiency in Basic Office Applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting when necessary.
Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience
  • NITEC / Higher Nitec in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
