Job Description

The Retail Consulting team focuses on implementing and supporting POS solutions in the Retail industry.

The job is a Techno-Functional Role with mix of hands-on consulting and after-sales support and maintenance of software POS/retail solutions running on them. Consultants thus have to provide the highest level of Customer Service to external customers and be responsive to customer requirements.

You will be involved in a very wide range of activities including but not limited to: consulting, design, installation, implementation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, analysis, solutions recommendation, and configuration as well as pre-/ post-sales support

• Design, Development & Implementation of POS and back office application in Microsoft Dynamics ERP NAV/BC using C/AL AND A/L and LS Retail
• Design and development of web application using .NET technology (C#, ASP.NET, Web services, HTML scripting) will be an added advantage
• Knowledge in designing tables and writing stored procedures / triggers in Data base, preferably SQL server
• Knowledge of web server deployments and configurations
• Good knowledge in RDLC

• 6-8 years experience in Microsoft Dynamics ERP Navision, Language C/AL (Must Have, LS Retail experience)
• A Degree Information Technology is preferred, though any degree is acceptable
• Knowledge of .NET (1.1, 2.0, 3.5) based development would be an added advantage (.NET C#, VB.NET, Web services, Stored Procedures, and Data Base)
• Good hands-on experience with design and development of GUI and server-based applications
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to diagnose problems quickly and recommend solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Experience in Online or Hybrid POS Solution on Azure or hosted environment
• Experience with Navision Warehouse Management System (WMS) module
• Experience with a variety of development methodologies (i.e. .Net, VB, SQL, etc.)
• Experience with Business Intelligence concepts and systems
