What the role is:
[LTA-TRO] TRAFFIC OPERATOR EXECUTIVE
What you will be working on:
Join our dynamic team at the Traffic Operations Command Centre (OCC), where you will be at the frontline of managing real-time traffic operations and responding to live incidents. This role is suited for candidates with operational awareness who thrive in fast-paced environments and can remain composed while adhering to established protocols.
Monitor real-time traffic incidents via the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) platforms & sensors
Detect, flag & escalate traffic incidents accurately & promptly
Monitor critical systems that enable OCC operations
Liaise & coordinate response efforts with relevant internal stakeholders and government agencies
Implement & support contingency plans during incidents
Participate in periodic contingency exercises and conduct 'After Action Reviews' (AARs) to enhance operational readiness
As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
What we are looking for:
Diploma in any discipline preferred, especially in fields related to engineering, operations, or transportation
Willingness to perform shift work, including weekends & public holidays
Possess strong situational awareness with effective communication & teamwork
Ability to stay composed & make sound decisions under pressure
Prior experience in a Command Centre or similar real-time operational environment is advantageous
