Min 5 years of experience in sales or reservations management within the luxury hotel industry
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, generating repeat business and responding to sales inquiries, negotiating rates and contract terms, and preparing proposals for clients.
Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Manage and motivate our reservations team to maximize occupancy rates and revenue, ensuring excellent customer service standards are met or exceeded.
Be experienced in using a hotel Property Management System, PMS. Hotel Time preferred.
Understand, analyze and predict customer demand and booking trends.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, including coordinating group bookings.
Prepare sales and revenue reports and present them to the management team.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge and be able to explain services and facilities to clients.
Assist clients with special requests or problems with reservations or accommodations.
As part of the Sales and Marketing department, you will use your skills to contribute, support, and problem solve as needed.
Organize and oversee all reservations activities, including making sales calls and soliciting new business.
Manage all trade bookings pre and post, as well as manage and retain relationships with existing trade partners.
Create and implement a contact plan and manage the trade management program for our top 50 partners.
Identify and map new trade markets and partners and liaise and work alongside our current trade representation.
Research business opportunities and viable income streams, draft and review contracts, report on weekly bookings, and report on successes and areas needing improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or reservations management within the luxury hotel industry.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency with Hotel Time or other hotel Property Management Systems
HubSpot or similar experience and the ability to maintain and manage a CRM system.
Strong attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite
Good knowledge of English both oral and written.
Additional language ability will be an advantage.
