In Japan, we are the one of the leading independent consultancy firms and engage in consulting services through multiple business segments such as Strategy & Operations Consulting, M&A Advisory and Financial Advisory, Turnaround Management, and Supply Chain Restructuring. The company is rapidly expanding its presence in South East Asia & India, and thus is looking for a young and driven individual to join our growing team in Singapore.



& Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong data analysis and strategy development skills to support data-driven decision making by leadership. The candidate will work closely with Head of M&A Consulting and the team members to build and work on proposals & reports that have a direct impact on business priorities and M&A strategy. The candidate with experience in working with senior executives across project management, strategy development, data analysis, reporting, financial analysis and visualization will be preferred.

M&A Consulting Unit

M&A Consulting Unit assists the companies to expand their operation into Southeast Asia and India on the buyside via acquisition. On the sell-side, we help by acting as a financial advisor to the company looking to sell as well as providing fundraising services to early stage companies as well (both in Southeast Asia and India).

Duration

We are looking for candidates to join us for our Business Analyst internship from May/June 2024 to December 2024 (Full-time).

What You\'ll Do

• Support management consulting projects/proposals related to market research, strategy development and
• M&A, taking charge of a distinct workstream of the project
• Identify business solution strategies by consolidating information sources, conducting detailed analysis,
• and translating into actionable insights
• Assist in development of Teasers / Pitch Decks / Information Memorandums for our sell side clients
• Conduct financial and competitor analysis to analyze a certain M&A target for our buy side clients
• Synthesize your findings and present to key project stakeholder (external / internal)

Qualifications (Required):

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and analytic capabilities with hypothesis-driven research skills
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Self-motivated & independent

Preferred:

• Research, Consulting or M&A background / Financial Analysis experience preferred
• Other language capability (Business level) is an advantage
