Job Description

Job Scope To be the primary maintenance lead in executing the maintenance plans and programs, and in ensuring the integrity & reliability of all static equipment in Olefin Plant. Responsibilities include:

• Lead, organize, manage and supervise contractors on work plan and execution, including contractors in abiding HSE Rules & Regulation in the course of work & contribute to the Company’s HSE programs.
• Assist in contributing towards the formulation of Maintenance Strategies, Plans and Programs for all static equipment in Olefin Plant.
• Manage and secure spares, materials and tools, and the expense budgeting to execute on maintenance plans and programs for static equipment.
• Enhance on static equipment maintenance programs for cost improvement and more effective and productive methods of work.
• Perform 1st line trouble-shooting on failure of static equipment, report on findings and propose counter-measures. Ensure counter-measures are carried out accordingly by the vendors / contractors.
• Upkeep the maintenance records including preparing photographic report and writing maintenance report for major static equipment repair/overhaul.

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Familiar with ASME, API standards
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in installing / commissioning / maintenance of static equipment in Oil / Petrochemical industry or Marine industry
• Major turnaround / shut-down maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of materials, NDT, failure mechanism, Engineering Flow Diagram
• Computer literacy, report writing skills
• Team player, able to lead a work group, analytical in problem-solving, resourceful.
