:
The main job scope of the Business Controller is to monitor and improve the operating costs of the relevant Business Activities or Functions in Singapore, and to provide decision support to Management. This includes the production of regular financial and management accounts, budgets and forecasts, in close coordination with Business/Function Controllers in Europe. Some activities require a regional financial advisor to oversee the Region.
In support of the Head of Finance APAC, the job holder provides a regional overview of relevant financial KPIs per Division/Business/Function and produces cross-country business cases to support regional Management.
The Business Controller will also drive simplification and digitalization initiatives in Finance.
The primary responsibilities comprise the following:
Build a strong customer relationship with business and Functions managers, providing lean and applicable information,
Accountable to establish the annual budget (includes ensuring budget adherence, investigate any budget deficiencies and provide solutions/improvement) & quarterly forecast of the respective business activity / function, in liaison with Heads of department,
Responsible to analyze and report quarterly P&L (for business lines and Functions) to local management and Central Controllers in France, Germany or Spain (Actuals vs Budget for dedicated Cost Centers),
Responsible for an accurate intercompany re-invoicing process, closely follow up on intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany positions to ensure no discrepancies in quarterly-end balances,
Advise on the development and improvement of internal control on policies within the company and ensure operations adhere to company policies and corporate tax regulations,
Contract management : Ensure the Cost Reimbursement Agreements / Service Level Agreements content is up-to-date, compliant to current country regulations/laws, sufficient to protect Company interests which support all activities within the Company,
Accountable to develop and conduct a financial analysis for the quarterly regional management dashboard for 10 countries in the region in a timely manner,
Responsible for computing regional business cases for cross-country improvement initiative, and provide actionable scenarios and way forward,
Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments, countries\xe2\x80\x99 financial related regulations,
Other corporate or ad-hoc duties as required such as Business Case, ad-hoc analysis
Spearheading projects relating to the transformation of Finance for greater simplification and digitalization, such as:

\xe2\xae\x9a Robotic automation process

Professional Skills:
Finance or Accounting Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s / Master\xe2\x80\x99s undergraduate,
Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 or more relevant experience in Controlling / Audit,
Accounting knowledge, transfer pricing and commercial understanding are desired,
Knowledge of SAP system, Gsuite and digital solutions,
Project management & presentation skills,
Ability to work in an international & dynamic environment and quick adaptation to changes
