About UOB Management Associate Programme

The UOB Management Associate Programme is a 18-month programme aimed at early career talent who are keen to take on leadership and regional roles within the bank. The programme has been designed to provide you with an accelerated induction experience. You will learn different aspects of the business and develop core competencies and technical skills which will fast-track your career in the bank. You will start and end the UOB Management Associate Programme at the Home Division of your choice. Over these 18 months, you will also be rotated to different business divisions to learn and gain exposure in different aspects of the industry.

The Management Associate Programme will be available as a Home Division selection in the following business segments:

• Business Banking
• Channels & Digitalisation
• Finance and Corporate Services
• Retail Bank
• TMRW Digital Bank
• Wholesale Bank

Successful applicants will go through 1 or 2 rounds of assessments. Candidates who have passed the assessments will be invited to join us at the Career Forum to network with hiring managers and select your desired home division.

Who we look for

We look for candidates who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities, strong analytical skills, and a drive for excellence. To qualify, you should possess:

• Minimum University Bachelor degree
• No more than two years of working experience
• An impressive leadership and co-curricular track record
• Proficiency in English; and preferably a second language

You should also possess the legal right to work in the country for which you are applying. We look for candidates who demonstrate academic excellence, outstanding leadership qualities and a strong drive for excellence. You should be resourceful with an enterprising spirit. You must possess a strong sense of ethics, the right attitude and a discerning mind to do what is right for the customer and uphold trust in the bank and the industry at large.

Our Management Associates are good communicators who are confident and professional in their delivery. They have the ability to relate and engage stakeholders within and outside of UOB. They are also able to work well under pressure and have the aptitude to synthesise complex information and develop innovative solutions.
