What you will be working on:

Performing day-to-day finance account receivables operations

Involve in month-end and year-end closing, ensuring all billings, receipts and journals are posted timely

Work closely with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders on billing matters, providing advice and guidance

Review subsidiary service level agreement with inputs from various corporate divisions

Review monthly dashboards, financial analysis, statistics, and reports to management

Prepare presentation decks and provide timely updates to management on revenue related matters

Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to review revenue contracts according to FRS115 revenue recognition for new products and services and attend meetings

Ensure work processes and practices comply with GovTech\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures, relevant government instruction manuals and financial circulars

Collaborate with the Pricing and Billing Units to reconcile billings and collections and ensure single source of truth on all billing information

Involve in the year-end audit for the preparation of Financial Statements notes, Balance Sheet Analysis pertaining to revenue function

Liaise with and manage external vendors for outsourced account receivable\xe2\x80\x99s function and grant system access for external vendors

Liaise with WorkDay consultants when there are integration or functional issues for resolution or any new updates to the Workday modules or templates to perform UAT

Follow up on past audit observations and work with various Finance teams and stakeholders to ensure the management action plans have been implemented

Ensure that monthly audit schedules and bank reconciliations are performed, and reconciliation items are cleared timely

Ensure aged items are promptly investigate and follow up closely

Liaise with external and internal auditors on matters relating to account receivable\xe2\x80\x99s function

Continuous review and streamline of processes for better efficiency while ensure adequate check and balance of controls

Review and ensure the relevant Standard Operating Procedures are up to date

Handle ad hoc projects/responsibilities as and when required

What we are looking for:

Degree in Accountancy or relevant professional accounting qualification

Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance, including experience in audit with the big 4 (or large) accounting firms will be considered

Workday and Tableau experience are strongly preferred but not compulsory

Conversant in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, local laws, and legislation

Has systematic and thorough approach to work, with a sense of accountability and time management

Proactive, strong analytical skills, meticulous, able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Good interpersonal and communications skills
