Job Description

The Airside Operations Control Manager/Assistant Manager oversees the running of the airside operations and shift team. Your role requires you to have in-depth knowledge of airfield and flow to manage the shift teams\xe2\x80\x99 operations. You will be the key person to ensure a high-performing shift team and airside operational performances. You will give operational guidance to the shift team, work closely with the shift teams on optimal on-ground execution of policies, perform quality assurance of the team and engage them to shape their learning and career growth. You will monitor and analyse the factors that result in sub-optimal performance for the shift or airside operations and formulate solutions to resolve them.
You will be the key conduit between various stakeholders, internal and external (for e.g. airlines, groundhandlers, Air Traffic Control, CAG divisions), and translate policies into shift execution. You will also take care of the team\xe2\x80\x99s operational needs including looking into innovations to improve the team\xe2\x80\x99s efficacy and productivity. You will also provide operational inputs to key airfield projects that affect the airport\xe2\x80\x99s capacity and develop contingency plans to handle operational incidents.
Requirements

• Good diploma or degree in any discipline with at least 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience
• Able to multi-task with good project management and interpersonal skills to engage key stakeholders
• Proven track record in managing operational teams
• Experience in airside operations and familiarity with the airfield will be advantageous
