Your Role Tenable is seeking a Manager of Billing Operations that will support the management, monitoring and execution of our global billing operations process. A successful candidate will have experience driving process improvement and technology automation to scale with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s growth. This role is highly visible, partners with stakeholders across the entire enterprise and requires a leader who can flex between billing execution, order management, and credit and collections support. Your Opportunity:

  • Manage the daily invoicing of customer orders for software subscriptions and licenses ensuring proper automated configuration of billing and license fulfillment
  • Identify, investigate and resolve billing issues with the assistance of Product, Finance and Technology teams to analyze errors and trace back to root cause
  • Manage distributor and reseller sales transactions processed through Company portal
  • Define, improve, communicate and enforce global billing policies and procedures with sales and sales operations teams
  • Ensure customer orders are structured in accordance with both internal and international policies and procedures, with a focus on maintaining internal controls, SOX compliance as well as local / regional legal and regulatory compliance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, Sales Operations, Digital Solutions, Product and Finance
  • Maintain and ensure integrity of customer data within Salesforce including but not limited to contact information, product expiration dates, units of product and other important account data values
  • Partner with internal teams such as Customer Success Managers, Territory Sales Managers, Technical Support, Legal and Finance to ensure accuracy of customer account data proper and access to products
  • Assist with identifying and validating cash payment application to customer accounts, and analyzing, investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Monitor customer accounts, research and resolve payment discrepancies, and coordinate channel team support for collections on past due-accounts
  • Assist in special accounting and finance projects as required to enhance Billing Operations for new products, processes, and procedures
What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:
  • 5+ years of billing operations experience, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail oriented, with a focus on efficiency and problem solving
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers as needed
  • Demonstrated history of implementing process automation, with the ability to scale business processes and team structure to match business growth
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field such as Business, Information Technology or Finance or equivalent work experience
And Ideally:
  • Experience with system implementation and optimization
  • Salesforce, NetSuite and Tableau system experience
