Job Description

:

The incumbent is required to manage the FairPrice Housebrand non-food product portfolio for FairPrice, including new product introductions.

He/she will be driving the growth and achievement of commercial targets for brick & mortar formats as well as the online platform across a range of FairPrice Housebrand non-food categories.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following scope of activities:

• In-depth analysis of sales data to identify issues and opportunities by category and by channel/format.
• Plans and strategizes category-specific growth plans
• Oversee implementation of plans including campaign and trade activities.
• Lead channel liaison for assigned FairPirce Housebrand non-food portfolio for brick & mortar formats
• Recommends new products based on market trends
• Manages new product introduction

Qualifications:

• Degree in any discipline
• Proven experience in business development, brand building, with product management/ marketing experience at a leading FMCG company
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience with supermarkets/ grocery chains would be a plus
• Experience with working with marketing/ branding agencies is a plus
• Ability to generate actionable insights from large qualitative and quantitative data
• Ability to formulate robust marketing strategies and campaigns
• Ability to think creatively and have a keen eye for aesthetics
• Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced retail environment
• Self-starter, resilient, able to collaborate and operate across teams effectively
