[What the role is]
We are looking for a service-oriented individual to join the Operations & Facilities Management Department which oversees the operation and maintenance of Government cemeteries, crematoria and columbaria. You will be stationed at government cemetery office and will play a key role in providing after-death care service.
[What you will be working on]
You will be responsible for the following:
Overall supervision for site operations for burial preparation at the Choa Chu Kang Cemetery
Inspection and certification of burial operations, maintenance of burial heavy vehicles
Lead a team to coordinate and plan for traffic, crowd control management during festive seasons
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the rollout of new systems involved after-death services application
Attend to public feedback/enquiries
Maintain office record/inventory
Assist supervisor to perform administrative duties
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
[What we are looking for]
Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Experience in customer service would be an advantage
Willing to work in after-death care service environment
Tactful, approachable and patient
Mature, independent and resourceful
Meticulous and ability to multi-task
Good organisational and administrative skills
Able and willing to work on weekends and public holidays
