About the Department


Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities


  • Processing of cheques for clearing, checking of cheques for acceptability, data entries and verification
  • Handling of enquiries/escalations from internal and external customers on timely manner
  • Support inward cheques and IBG clearing operations
  • Perform daily general ledger reconciliation and day end balancing within in-house systems
  • Processing of GIRO applications, customer and account data maintenance, etc.
  • Handling administrative matters and other ad-hoc duties/projects as assigned
  • Managing a team in resource planning, staff welfare, work scheduling and performance management & counseling


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor Degree with min 4 years of working experience in Banking
  • Ideal to have background in Banking Operations
  • Experience in Clearing & Giro support
  • Good communications
