To support the Deputy Director in managing the partnerships with corporate and individual supporters, specifically through donations, sponsorship, volunteers activities, corporate partnerships and fundraising events.
To manage the external communications and the publicity related activities for the organisation.
To manage the department and to coach, train and motivate the team to deliver the objectives set.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the Community Partnerships income and expenditure budget
Responsible in the fundraising, policies, procedures and legal requirements, including submitting reports and administering general correspondence
Support the Deputy Director in managing the Volunteer Management programme including review and maintenance of the SOP
Be familiar with the utilisation of the volunteer management software tool and to review the status to ensure the success of the programme
Responsible for the retention of volunteers and corporate supporters
Maintain and develop the existing portfolio of corporate relationships
Provide strong account management to maximise income
Design and deliver a communication and contact strategy
Organise cultivation events throughout the year
Support the Deputy Director in securing sponsorship for major fundraising events
Act as an ambassador representing the organisation at external events
Participate in data collection and analysis with regard to fund-raising and publicity effort
Job Requirements
Degree in Business studies/ Community development/ Education/ Social Care/ Youth or Social Work
At least 5 years' relevant experience VWO/ NPO/ Social service sector
Knowledge of universal declaration on volunteering and current national volunteering codes and standards
Understand the impact of cultural or community attitudes on appropriate roles, relationships and approaches of the volunteer worker
Understand the relevant policies and procedures to assist other volunteers work
Understand the relationship and how volunteers fit within the organisation
Candidate with less years of relevant experience may be considered for the role of Assistant Manager or Senior Executive
