Job Description

The Costing Excellence Manager will work closely with senior brand costing and operations leads to understand margin goals and shape targeted initiatives to optimize ~4bn worth of product cost across all VF brands, products and countries. The individual will bring a strong analytical and ownership mindset to the organization and fully leverage “One VF” scale through use of harmonized and scalable fact-based costing methodologies, intelligence and tools. The manager will play an important role in the Product Supply Organization with an extensive focus on project management and collaborative problem solving Join the VF Family Manager, Costing Excellence How You Will Make a Difference What you will do:

• Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional cost optimization initiatives, conducting product costing related analyses to support costing and brand teams
• Process Reengineering: Within the scope of product costing, collaborate with VF Costing Analytics team in achieving dramatic improvements in productivity and efficiency
• Governance: Ensure process adherence by costing operations teams as well as product vendors.
• Connectivity : Support connectivity and information sharing among Sourcing, Global Material Supply, Finance, Engineering and Suppliers that enables a valuable One-VF Global Costing Strategy
• Team: Ensure the integration and education of new talent joining Global Product Costing Team. Own the team site and ensure security of all information and communications
• Travel : 10%

How you will do it:

• Eliminating redundancies, automating repetitive tasks and optimizing processes for maximum value
• Be the owner of all costing operations processes, create training material and SOPs as needed for standardization
• Track and report on key metrics to ensure established processes are fully aligned with the performance, efficiency and transparency needs of the costing organization, VF Finance, and the brand product teams

• Driving product cost excellence
• Ensure costing processes across all brands and regions are standardized to leverage one-VF scale and operating procedures across the enterprise. Example: cost sheets.

What we expect you already know:

• Experience in business process redesign, change management and project management
• Experience in procurement function / engineering / apparel or footwear industry / operations consulting
• Proficiency in Excel, data visualization and reporting tools, and other Microsoft Office products
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills
• Ability to influence and drive consensus
• Good commercial acumen
