We are looking for a qualified Manager, Credit & Payments to support our growing regional team as part of an international team of highly talented and motivated people.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive partnership framework and market strategy for card issuance and lending initiatives for the regional markets with an immediate/long term view
  • Will be responsible for the detailing roadmap, objectives and expansion plans, along with capture value for the foodpanda ecosystem through card and lending initiatives
  • Get buy in from country teams and align the cross-functional teams on key proposals including representation from Data, Legal, Marketing, Product, Customer Service Operations, Engineering and Finance
  • Negotiate the best commercial terms with our partners to drive long term synergistic partnership
  • Work closely to monitor the performance of partners and their impact on the core KPI\'s and give regular presentations to the management and cross functional teams
  • Execute go to market plans with local, regional and central teams to ensure maximum impact on delivery for card issuance and lending initiatives
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience working in the marketing/business development teams and focusing on building synergies within the industry with a variety of players
  • Candidates leading partnerships for global/regional payment players will be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the payments landscape and how the payments industry works
  • Strong experience in negotiating with different internal and external stakeholders
  • Very strong analytical, problem solving skills and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently if required, and learn quickly and adapt to different roles in a growing team
  • A sense of urgency, pragmatism and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
