What the role is:NEA is the lead agency for planning for after-death facilities and services in Singapore. You will be part of the Memorial Facilities & Planning Division which oversees the planning of after-death facilities and services in Singapore. You will be providing operations planning capability to ensure that the Government after-death facilities are efficiently managed and operated.What you will be working on:Oversee projects and initiatives to improve after-death facilities and services including conceptualising new ideas, developing project scopes and objectives, conducting market research or analysis, and engaging the industry to understand the supplier landscape.Plan and manage end-to-end procurement activities including drafting, calling, evaluation and award of tenders and quotations while adhering to the key principles and guidelines of Government ProcurementCoordinate with operations team to develop project scopes, establish requirement specifications, plan timelines, and prepare documents for procurement.Review of procurement processes such as streamlining workflows and strengthening procurement capability of the divisionFormulate and coordinate contingency plans as part of emergency preparedness to mitigate peacetime crisis and emergencies that impact after-death services operations.Manage land planning projects which includes collaborating across stakeholders on requirements and land use planning matters, analyzing project benefits, and facilitating development projects.Review and manage budget planning including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting.What we are looking for:At least 5 years of experience in policy, planning or procurement work.
