As a Manager (Finance), you have a sound foundation in accounting concepts and possesses sharp, analytical mind with an ability to get to the heart of an issue. You will chart the organisation\'s direction by partnering our internal customers in financial planning analysis to achieve our strategic targets and business plans. What you will be working on:

Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Analysis

  • Perform financial evaluation on budgeting, capital project investments, corporate policies and initiatives in support of IRAS\' corporate mission
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to gain insights on the longer-term financial implications to support management decision making
  • Perform cash-flow reconciliation, analysis and forecasting Financial Management Reporting and Accounting (Corporate Accounts)
  • Monitor and report on IRAS\' financial performance, and identify sub-optimal operations and initiatives
  • Prepare IRAS\' annual financial statements in compliance with Statutory Board-Financial Reporting Standards
  • Perform operational accounting functions Cash Accounting (Agency Accounts)
  • Report taxes collected/refunded by IRAS as an agent of the government, as well as enterprise grants disbursed by IRAS
  • Perform reconciliation activities, reporting and monitoring of tasks Investment
  • Analyse and assess the impact of investment decisions on the financial position of the organisation to ensure that the investments achieve a reasonable return at an acceptable level of risk
What we are looking for:
  • Preferably a background in Accounting
  • Experienced in financial reporting and management, as well as preparation of financial statements
  • Good stakeholder management, networking, writing, and communication skills
  • Meticulous and an aptitude for figures
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and business acumen
  • Resourceful and able to work independently
  • Able to deploy new technology, analytics tools and dashboard to support key job functions
