Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the Environment Control System (ECS) Project team for coordination and supervision of projects at North South and East West Lines (NSEWL), Circle Line (CCL), and Bukit Panjang Light Rail Lines (BPLRT) stations and depots:

• Project management / coordination with external stakeholders - LTA, BCA, SCDF, Private Developer Interfacing.
• Project management / coordination / site support with internal stakeholders - Request for Works (RFW) and A&A Works.
• Management of application of Track Access Management System (TAMS) for LTA applicants related to ECS Projects and coordination of late requests.
• Engineering and maintenance review for the Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) Systems

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise team comprising Engineering Maintenance Managers, Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers, and Technical Officers.
• Monitor and plan for the team to ensure the following requirements / processes:

• Coordinate Station and Track access requests
• Coordinate submission of drawings, materials, work method, risk assessment
• Review on Architectural / Structural drawings
• Arrange closing of AFMs
• Follow up on closure of outstanding items for Transfer of Care, Custody and Control documents
• To respond to urgent requests for troubleshooting due to contractors\' works.
• Oversee the ACMV system, air-conditioning system inclusive of chilled water and direct expansion system, MCC system / power distribution system, Local Sequential Controller system / building management system, Tunnel Ventilation system.
• Other duties arising from business needs or as assigned,

Qualifications & Work Experience

Qualifications and work experience include:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Building Services.
• At least 6 years of experience in project management of Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation system.
• Familiar with Railway Operating Environment, regulations, and practices.

Skills

• Proven track records in mechanical services of ACMV system.
• Must be self-motivated, resourceful, organized, independent and possess strong interpersonal & communication skills
