Job Description

What the role is:To be part of the Frontline Services team at Ministry of Manpower (MOM).What you will be working on:

• Provide case-specific advisory services on employment, work injury and work pass matters to customers who visit the MOM Services Centre and through video conferencing platform in a professional manner \xe2\x80\xa2 Document interactions and all related information accurately into databases \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep abreast with prevailing policies and processes to ensure accurate information to customers is provided and resolve customers\' queries effectively and escalate issues promptly as needed \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactively identify emerging issues for closer monitoring and/or timely intervention by divisions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Undertake tasks related to customer service excellence, service tech innovation as well as service operations planning & management

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications in any discipline \xe2\x80\xa2 Prior experience in customer service/service tech innovation/service operations planning & management will be an added advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess good verbal and written communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to relate well to people from all backgrounds and handle difficult customers/sensitive issues in an empathetic and professional manner \xe2\x80\xa2 Patient and effective problem solver \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle customers from various regions including Southeast Asia, South Asia and East Asia, Proficiency in a second language such as Tamil, Malay, Hindi, Mandarin etc. will be an added advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Team player who can work with both internal and external stakeholders \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in basic IT programmes like Microsoft Office 365
